HDIF was founded 2013. It is a social enterprise that creates sustainable jobs in Armenia by producing and selling artisan handicrafts. HDIF Trading LLC was founded in 2018 and runs the daily operation of HDIF’s fair trade shop as well as product manufacturing and supply management.

HDIF-USA was founded in 2017 and is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation. HDIF-USA is HDIF’s first international affiliate. Its mission is to support economic development initiatives in Armenia, including the import and sale of Armenian handicrafts.
