HDIF USA’s Share The Love Fundraising Campaign

Hdif-Usa's annual fundraising campaign Share the Love just kicked in.

This year, HDIF USA is raising $9,500 for providing a new fully equipped kitchen for Varduhi's "Real Tavush B&B." Rumor has it that Varduhi is an outstanding cook, and enjoys serving guests regional specialties.

In addition to our support, other donors are funding the installation of natural gas heating and renovation of two bedrooms to make sure that Varduhi is ready for the summer tourist season, and can hire more people from the village.

This is Varduhi!

She loves and appreciates her B&B very much.

Varduhi is a breast cancer survivor and has found inner peace in the mountains of north-eastern Armenia. Although she is retired and living on her pension, Varduhi remained active by establishing a B&B business in 2019.

Due to COVID, the B&B was temporarily closed down until the past fall. Even with the barest of essentials, the B&B has welcomed guests from Europe, Russia, and Armenia. Construction work on Varduhi's "Real Tavush" will take place from March-May, so time is of the essence!
