Share the Love 2019 | Report from Berd

We can hardly believe it! The renovation of the Eco Center is nearing completion. Anahit Badalian, the incredibly energetic president of the Berd Women's Resource Center, reports that the entire roof has been constructed. On top of that the electricity, drinking water, irrigation for the berry garden, and sewage system have all been installed. The 4th floor has been raised to serve as a solar dryer for fruit. All the windows and main doors have been installed, and now they're working on the interior walls.

Earlier this year, HDIF-USA ran a crowdfunding campaign to benefit the Berd Woman's Resource Center Foundation. This money supports the renovation of an Eco Center building, preparation of an organic berry garden, and expansion of the BWRCF's handicraft and fruit preserve enterprises.
