HDIF Debuts New Recycled Products for World Fair Trade Day

World Fair Trade Day is May 11th, and to mark the occasion, HDIFhas launched a super cool new product line in partnership with Apaga and ECO Project. We are turning wine bottles into interesting items for your home or business, or as gift items. Melted wine bottles are becoming tableware for cheese, canapés, nuts, olives, and anything else you can imagine.

To learn more about this cooperation and see the new products, come by our open house on Saturday from 2-4PM at the Homeland Fair Trade Shop (Parpetsi Str 13, Yerevan) and join the festivities!

World Fair Trade Day is an initiative of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO) that takes place on the 2nd Saturday of May each year. 

It is an inclusive worldwide festival of events celebrating Fair Trade as a tangible contribution to sustainable development, especially the economic empowerment of small producers, gender equality in workplaces and responsible production practices.

WFTO and its members believe that trade must benefit the most vulnerable and deliver sustainable livelihoods by developing opportunities for small and disadvantaged producers.
