Share the Love Update | July 2018

HDIF-USA's founder and executive director, Beth Broussalian, recently met with the staff of the Women's Resource Center Armenia to discuss the progress of the SHARE THE LOVE project.  We are happy to report that your dollars are helping survivors of domestic and sexual violence learn new, marketable skills.  Beautiful baptism blankets as well as baby blanket & hat sets are being made with the help of the knitting machines that were purchased with donations to the SHARE THE LOVE campaign.  Beth, Tim (Straight) and Lucy (Vartevanian) had a productive meeting discussing yarn colors, patterns, borders, and embellishments.  These new items will be available in HDIF's retail shop and online in the fall. We are grateful for your support!  

The purpose of the campaign was to raise money to create jobs in handicrafts for women who are survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
